The Philadelphia Dance Class Survey was completed during September 2011, generating more than 120 responses from dancers, choreographers, students, administrators and other people involved in the Philadelphia dance community. The survey, the analysis that followed and even this website were created by one dancer/choreographer using her own, very limited resources. Next Steps: Planning Meeting
We've collected the data, we know what we want: more technique classes, taught at consistent times, at consistent (central) locations, by consistent instructors. The next step is to take action and create a plan for creating the class schedule that we want. I have arranged an open planning meeting where dancers, instructors and administrators can come and share thoughts, suggestions and concrete ideas for turning these survey results into a reality. | Meeting Information
